Living by the coast after a working life is different from buying a holiday home. What seemed a detail at fifty can become the main issue at seventy: the stairs, the sandy road, the distance to the pharmacy.
It is not a pleasant conversation for a property page, but it is the right one. We prefer to mention it before you discover it later.
What we selected
the village centre within walking distance;
access by a paved road;
preferably no stairs, or everything essential on the ground floor;
suitable circulation for a wheelchair;
near shops, a pharmacy and care.
Not every property on this coast meets these requirements, and many of the most beautiful are precisely where the road is still sandy. They are excellent properties — not for this purpose.
